The New AMSIB Brand

As Generation Z made its way to higher education it was time for a change in branding to cater to a new audience and reflect all the changes that the brand was taking. I worked on various elements of the new brand that included developing the brand story called ‘The AMSIB student’ as well as creating the house style guide and marketing and communication materials that would be featured online and offline. The direction of the new branding highlights the student journey and motivations of students studying at AMSIB. It reflects the energy of studying in an urban environment like Amsterdam and strives to be bold and urban, while highlighting the motivational aspects of its' programmes.

BRAND STORY

I am young, urban and curious, hungry to make my mark on the world. I live and breathe Amsterdam. It is where I work, study, and play. I go to sleep tired and fulfilled but I always have time to party, whether it’s a drink or thuishaven, I’m there!

 

I work hard and I am driven. I love my city but I am also an explorer, eager to see the world, meet new people, and discover new cultures and languages. I am ready for tomorrow, driven by my dreams and ambition. Give me a problem and I will give you a solution, it may cost you, but it will be worth it. I’m not afraid to speak my mind, so brace yourself!
